Research Team for Geriatric Pathology

 Our team has been performing pathological and pathophysiological researches of geriatric diseases: pathology and molecular biology of cardiovascular aging, TMGH autopsy resource (TMGH-AR) and autopsy tissue bank (ATB) projects, aging and carcinogenesis, pathophysiology of subcortical dementia, and neuropathological application of The Brain Bank for Aging Research (BBAR). They are characterized by near-clinical researches based on basic geriatric and gerontological sciences, and promotion of three public tissue bank projects (TMGH-AR, ATB, and BBAR). Medical doctors of our team are engaged in pathological diagnosis and neurological clinical practices of our hospital, thus helping the collaboration between the research institute and hospital of our center.
