Profile

Our research team consists of three groups, each of which focuses on glycomics (Molecular Glycobiology), proteomics (Proteome Research), endocrinology and metabolisms with their roles in healthy longevity, aging-related diseases, and cancers (Systems Aging Science and Medicine). We aim to elucidate their physiological and pathological roles in humans and to better understand aging and aging-related diseases at the molecular and cellular levels, as well as to identify novel biomarkers for aging and aging-related diseases based on our research findings. Together, we will contribute to the promotion and maintenance of health in the older people.
